Elite Boerboels: South African Boerboel Breeder in Portugal

I’m the founder of Elite Boerboels.

For over 9 years, I’ve worked with clients in more than 30 countries, mostly US, UK, Europe and Canada, breeding Boerboels that are strong, stable, and capable of living with families while still being true guardians.

Our kennel is based just outside Lisbon, Portugal. It’s not a backyard operation; we have a full team, including dedicated trainers, and we work with our dogs daily in real environments.

My goal has always been simple: produce Boerboels that are athletic, clear-headed, and true to the original working type, not oversized, weak show dogs.

Beyond breeding, I also run TYR Protection Dogs, where I work with trained protection dogs on a daily basis. That experience directly influences the quality and mindset of the dogs we produce.

My wife Sandra manages client relationships, making sure every family is supported throughout the process. Our children are also part of the environment, helping raise puppies that are naturally social and balanced.

This is not just breeding.

It’s a daily commitment to producing dogs that are ready for real life.
